The Pueblo Festival is a new volunteer choir that will give two to three concerts per year in collaboration with the Pocket Philharmonic Orchestra.

Through dedication to artistic excellence, we strive to inspire joy, foster a sense of belonging, and enrich our community with the power of music.

Music Director

Neal Figueroa is an accomplished and versatile music director, composer, and pianist, currently based in Colorado. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Neal holds a degree from Middle Tennessee State University and studied Film & TV Composition and Orchestration at Berklee.

Over the last two decades, Neal has had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with many renowned performers and directors in the industry, including Tony Award Nominee Catherine Cox (Baby), Damon Gillespie (NBC’s RiseNewsies), Jacob Brent (Cats), Travis Greisler (The Cher Show), and Analisa Leaming (King and IHello, Dolly!On the Twentieth Century), as well as many others.

Bringing the best out in musicians and cast members, Neal’s skilled direction has resulted in unforgettable performances. His playful personality is reflected in his conducting and engages audiences of all ages. Ensuring that every note and gesture resonates with the audience, his attention to detail creates a truly immersive and captivating experience.

Apart from music direction, Neal is also a talented pianist who performs regularly in ensembles of all sizes from piano duo to orchestra settings. Whether playing a solo or collaborating with other musicians, Neal delights audiences with his performances. His versatility as a pianist allows him to effortlessly navigate various musical genres, from classical to jazz, infusing each piece with his unique artistic interpretation.
